When you contact us

If you use the inquiry form on one of our home pages, or the homeowner inquiry form, we receive what you type in: your name, email address, and message, and depending on the form, your phone number, the home you're asking about, or where your own home is located. These forms are delivered to our inbox by Formspree, the form service we use. We use what you send to answer you.

When you book a stay

Availability calendars, booking requests, and direct reservations on this site run through Hostfully, our reservation system. When you check dates or book, Hostfully collects what's needed to reserve and pay for your stay, such as your name, contact details, dates, number of guests, and payment information, and handles it under Hostfully's privacy policy. Payment is taken on Hostfully's secure booking pages, not on this website. We receive your reservation details so we can prepare the home and host your stay.

Some of our homes are also listed on Airbnb. If you follow a link and book there, Airbnb's privacy policy applies to that booking.

Guest reviews

The guest reviews shown on our pages are displayed by Revyoos, a review service that loads them from its own servers.

Our newsletter

If you choose to join our newsletter, you sign up on a Mailchimp page and Mailchimp stores your email address for us. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Our homepage also loads a small Mailchimp script, which can set cookies in your browser.

Site analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit and roughly where visitors come from. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which shows us how visitors use our pages, such as clicks, scrolling, and moving from page to page, so we can make the site easier to use. Both tools use cookies. Clarity does not record what you type into forms. We use these tools to improve the site, not to identify you.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with the services named on this page, which help us run the site and your stay, and when the law requires it.

Your choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and a content blocker will stop the analytics tools. Google offers an opt-out add-on for Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You can also ask us what we have on file about you, or ask us to delete it.
