Snowmobiling
The Sangre de Cristo Mountains of northern New Mexico are the perfect place to enjoy some of the most beautiful views in the area. Adventure seekers and sightseers alike will enjoy the local guided snowmobile tours from Bobcat Pass to Red River and even Taos.
Tubing & Sledding
The sledding hill located outside of the Angel Fire Country Club is available Friday-Sunday from 10am-4pm.
There is a 4 lane tubing hill at the Angel Fire Ski Resort and children must be 42″ tall – $35 per person – one hour block reservations.
Ice Fishing
Eagle Nest Lake State Park, only 10 miles from Angel Fire, is open for ice fishing during the winter months, provided there is solid enough ice.
Bundle up and walk out onto the frozen lake on a clear day with your fishing gear and license. Find the perfect spot, drill a large hole through the ice until you see open water. Drop in your hook and enjoy the day.
Hiking Trails
Angel Fire offers plenty of hiking trail options on the resort mountain including Overlook Loop, Disc Golf Summit Loop, and Enlightenment Trail which is an advanced hiking trail that spans over 2000 vertical feet, from the base of Angel Fire Resort to the summit. Even in the winter these same trails can be enjoyed. You can also travel to Taos for more complex and beautiful mountain trails.
Sleigh Rides
There is nothing more enchanting in Northern New Mexico than a horsedrawn carriage or sleighride along scenic mountain trails, amongst Aspen and Ponderosa pine trees, with vistas of snowcapped Wheeler Peak and the quiet Village of Angel Fire along the foothills of the Carson National Forest.
Mountain Biking
Angel Fire Bike Park is the largest Bike Park in the Rocky Mountains and has been voted Best in the Southwest by MTBparks.com 7 years in a row! Come experience the 2,000+ vertical feet, 60+ miles of purpose-built, lift-served terrain.
The lift will be running 7 days a week May 27 – Sept 5, and every weekend (Fri-Sun) Sept 9 – Oct 30.
Golf
Come tee off at Angel Fire Resort’s par 72, 6,653 yard, 18-hole golf course surrounded by the majestic southern Rocky Mountains in Angel Fire, New Mexico. The front nine incorporates a longer-playing layout that meanders through two unspoiled canyons of aspen, spruce, and pine, while the back nine offers links-style play with smaller greens and plenty of bunkers.

UTV Offroading
Experience an outdoor adventure like no other in the mountains of
Northern New Mexico. Throughout most of the year, Bobcat Pass offers
guided UTV tours or experience a scenic or rugged jeep tour with Red River Offroad.
Horseback Riding
Guided horseback riding tours through Angel Fire or Red River area, from 1-hour to all day options. Children under 6 can ride as doubles.

Zip Line Adventure Tours
Experience fresh alpine air and breathtaking views as you zip through the mountains on the Angel Fire Zipline Adventure Tour.
During the tour, you will enjoy exploring our four ziplines with two professional guides to help you along the way.

Scenic Chairlift
Take in the beautiful views as the chairlift takes you to the mountain summit at 10,677 feet. Once at the top, you can enjoy disc golf and hiking.
On your way back, you have the option of either hiking down or riding the chairlift to the base area.
Season: May 27 – October 30

Angel Fire Resort’s Monte Verde Lake is a beautiful spring-fed, high-mountain lake in the heart of Angel Fire. Stop by and enjoy boating, paddle boarding, hiking, fishing, or just relaxing on shore.
Resort Game Hunts
Throughout the year Angel Fire Resort offers seasonal guided game hunts on 2500+ acres of privately owned resort property. For the 2022 – 2023 season, exclusive guided hunts will be offered for elk (bulls and cows) and deer for rifle and bow hunting enthusiasts. An experienced guide will accompany every two hunters.
